Thanks for the Briefing. But tell me, what was the general attitude of the stockholders in attendance?

Doc -- Thanks for the report on the meeting: but I was surprised that you didn't mention the question and answer period. There was one I hope. I seem to recall a lot of members of this thread that were "baited for bear" and that they were really going to put ole GF on the hot seat -- if not demand that he step down. What happened to all that bluff and bluster?

The stock ended down an 1/8 - apparently some were not impressed!

Still holding - and hoping.

Doc,
Thanx for the report. I can see why you were impressed by the tenor, he sure didn't leave much for the soprano, alto, or baritone to sing about. Sorry, it's late; I couldn't resist.
Alski

i have net read all of the responses.. i would like the hunts to stay here.
that would put them in an equal footing with us. i high yield bond at this point...
could be the end.
not to be negative, as i am a shareholder..
but floating a junk bond after taking the hunts money, diluting the shareholders, puts the risk to the bondholders as well as us, but the junk bond (which would be a subordinate.. IF we still have ANY outstanding bonds....)
is another barrier between current and future shareholders from getting ANYTHING in case of a chapter 11..
the problem with hi yield notes is that they lend and aura (sp) of danger and high risk to the company. even if used to pay off all senior notes and debts, what will it mean to the newly diluted stock?
in the s+l scandal, they did all kinds of cash for trash feals that made the deposit brokers fees, the lenders balance sheets, and the companies borrowing appear stronger, when in effect it wekened everyone and cost the govt, and ultimately every small taxpayer money.
this type of ponzi paper trading is smoke and mirrors that misleads people.
i don't know with what limited info and time i have had lately what the exact nature of the bonds, former bonds, current bonds and such "is"./

i sincerely wish i could have been at the meeting..
rats.
