Tom,

Actually I bought VECO at 30 so this time around I am not counting it as a win yet. I should have ridden it down much further. VECO and ZIGO have been top earners in my portfolio since last December when I began to short term trade the stocks. But my timing had been pretty fortunate until now. I have been following VECO for quite some time as it is a company much related to my work but only got interested in its investment potential around December time frame when I began to read its thread and dig into the company a little bit. I liked their aquisitions very much and felt the company was lined up for solid growth with the technologies they have assembled which play well into the overwhelming trends in disk drive technologies and, to a lesser extent, semi conductor technologies. Unfortunately they have been affected by the sourness in the whole group but I still expect them to outperform. I am not so bullish on the short term. I think the DD sector may underperform the summer rally. It fell too far and too fast with too much ground to regain for bad timers like myself. There will still be time to buy this group IMO. I just do not know when it will be.

Best,
Stitch

APM short squeeze starting gaining momentum. 50 dma is at 8. If it does break 8, then 10-12 should happen pretty quickly. Almost 11 mil shares short. Average daily volume typically only 1 mil.
