Much Ado About Nothing! What's the matter?! What happened to TAVA today?! I must have misheard Jenkins announcing bankruptcy!..

What price action did you, guys, expect today - other than happened? Even if Jenkins performed beautifully it would 've "surged" to high 11s and - what a surprise!- drop back to mid 10s. You seem to forget that Friday runup was caused only by CNBC announcement and was very well expected to finish before the end of interview. This "CNBC Effect" was thoroughly discussed on this very board last three days.

As for the interview itself, I did not watch it, but the transcript suggests it was extremely brief for such general questions. Maybe Jenkins could make it longer? I don't know. He performed poorly? He is not an actor, ok! He does his job much better than he acts before the TV camera - that's a shame , of course. Let him learn this new skill.

'Y2K bomb ticks inside embedded MCUs
By Jack Robertson

OEMs beware: You may have a Year 2000 date problem buried inside the embedded microprocessor in your product.

By now, almost everyone knows that computer network and mainframe software could have Year 2000 time bombs ticking away, ready to blow up on the first day of the new century. But the same danger lurks in the embedded code of ubiquitous MCUs that might also have only two-digit abbreviated year designations. At midnight of the new millennium, this MCU code will revert to the year 1900, possibly with devastating consequences.

The microcontroller Y2K problem is scary. MCUs are pervasive-embedded in everything from automobiles to telecommunications to home appliances to industrial equipment of all kinds. And until now, few people have given any thought to the buried software running on the MCU.
