John - Re.: Now if only wall street takes notice?
The street? Take notice? They will, when they hear the sound of a herd coming. They will then follow the herd. The herd they now are following are the internet IPO's for earnings in the far distant future light-years away.

Your information is important. One reason why the y2k problem is downplayed by the banks, insurance companies, and the market, is the liability. They do not want people to panic. If people panic, they will drain bank's balances in a second or do whatever. With ATM machines fitted with y2k non-compliant embedded chip, it'll be interesting to see how the disaster would develop. We do not wish a disaster to happen. But, it's time for a disaster or an associated liability law suit to happen. Is it so hard to find a lawyer that can not contest the bills passed to protect the "insurance" companies? Banks and others had had plenty of time, warning, tools, services, and money to fix the problem. Now it looks like consumers will pay for their negligence. Ram
