I am quite surprised by all this talk of offers and/or negotiations to sell the company. If this were occuring I would think that Roy or someone in the community would have heard something. Any of you people with an inside track hear anything definite?

Craig,

At the current share price, the conversion price of the remaining Series-B shares would be roughly 2 1/4. Instead of 700,000 shares left to convert from that round there would be approximately 1,500,000 more shares added to the float. Add to that the $11M of series "C" we need to pay for, at $3/share that could add another 4 million shares to the float. Combined this would increase the float by ~50%.

At $2/share this problem would compound and add nearly 8M shares to the float. I guess management foresaw this possibility and that is why they added 20M shares to their reservoir at the last meeting. The shorts probably glommed onto this fact as well. They gambled that Ancor wouldn't land a major OEM near term and they rolled a '7'

The 2nd half '98 is a few days away, hopefully she will turn around as promised.

Steve

<<My disappointment with not having the MKII optimized for LAN applications stems from my belief that the MKII had to REPLACE the older generation 1 gig gear, in order for Ancor to produce it in sufficient quantity. (Economies of scale would further reduce
the price of the MKII, making it even more competitive.) The 1/4 gig gear would continue to be manufactured and sold into the niche markets that required it>>

Hey, Hey. Why do you think that the MKII is a dog on the LAN side?
Until we see some definitive evidence I don't think we can travel to that assumption (Hope).Does anyone know if the MK is no good? Has anyone seen anything that says it does not work?

As far as the company goes, Hey they are pure BS in my mind... They have not said a word, but rather JUST let the stock DROP like a rock. (Long at avg. +6) and feel like I have been had!!!

PS: Ice - nothing but ice water to this point :)
