CATLADY SAYS" Dave, I don't think you understand what shorting is all about. Actually I do...YOU ARE MISSING THE BIGGER PICTURE...THE SEC isn't but you are. You are talking about a "normal" process, I am talking about a perverted one, out of control. I am talking about the heavy manipulation of price that is going on, and the publications like the "The Stock Detective" hired by MM's and shorters (see the earlier post on people being indicted for dong this...BUSINESS WEEK mag) to badmouth some of the best companies on the BB. I am talking about MM's who in the last few days, actually "walked down the bid" of MTEI, DGIV, and SGNC and several other stocks on 3 to 1 buying over selling. I am talking about MM's who play the game of "walking down the bid" and then spreading the Bid/ASK to make it hard to buy. Then "walking down" some more until people panic. This has gone on far too long. ****** All we are asking for is a stock to go up on buying and down on selling in a rational way and a normal Bid/Ask spread based on actual volume.
