RIS buys half of Western Wyoming gas complex

DENVER, July 1 (Reuters) - Western Gas Resources Inc. said on Wednesday that RIS Resources International Inc. (RIS.V - news) agreed to buy half of Western Gas' Granger and Lincoln Road natural gas gathering and processing complex for $110 million.

In November, the natural gas gathering and processing companies, Western Gas and RIS, installed natural gas gathering facilities on the Granger complex and RIS obtained two options to buy a 50 percent interest in the complex.

The Granger complex is located in the Greater Green River Basin of southwest Wyoming.

The transaction is expected to close on August 31, subject to RIS obtaining the necessary financing and regulatory approval.
