I have not taken a position in AMZN yet, however I did go short
through IOMG, before and during when it split and became IOM. I was down $100k one
day with the broker screaming at me regarding those pesky margins. I smacked him off
with questions about having 3 (or was it 5 back then?) days to pay up, and a week later I
was up 25 grand; but I felt like a squished frog on the road. Shorting is very hard in this
environment.

Dan,

I was not involved with shorting IOM. I did write some naked puts out of the money on its way up and way before the price got rediculous. I just watched it in awe after that wondering who was buying it. It is the same with AMZN. I wonder who is buying it and why. Today is another day and maybe a sell-off will occur.I should just flip a coin and not watch it;-)
