Dave,

OSTE - nice one (island reversal), do you see a descending tri that started on 11/10/07 and broke out 5/6/98?

[ On The Lighter Side...]

Here's a funny e-mail I got this morning:

Try this one!
----------
(1) Go to MS Word
(2) Type the phrase "I'd love to see you naked" (without the quotes)
(3) Highlight the whole phrase
(4) go to the tools menu or shift f7
(5) choose thesaurus.....

[ Indicator ]

Dave, you'll get a chance to take a look at my new adaptive indicator on the recent link to Scott. It's an adaptive overbought/oversold indicator, and the underlying concept makes good sense to me. Take a look.

Regards,

Rainier

[ Resistance as a Function of Time ]

Dave and others,

Al brought up a subject I began thinking about quite a while ago, and that was the role resistance played as a function of time. What generally has been your experience with resistance levels as time passes? One would think that its significance decreases as time passes, and that would appear to be correct in certain cases.

I personally have observed levels of at least up to 2 years as being significant.

Do you have any thoughts on the matter?

Regards,

Rainier
