however the real reason Maggie Thatcher Milk Snatcher sent troops to the Falklands was to secure the oil ( as yet not drillable ) that is beneath the teratorial waters of the Falklands. As for the rest of your diatribe it was not exuberance but stooping to his level. The above is highly debatable, in historical terms of possession, real capabilities for such drilling, maintenance costs as part of Great Britain, etc. I do believe that England's presence in Antartica played part of the decision to attack. While justifiable given the way in which the initial take over was done, such debate: a) Does not belong in this thread. b) The intent in which the post that caused all this was made, certainly justifies my response, stooping or not. Furthermore, if I were to use the same logic as you used to qualify my response, then I can safely say that the Iron Lady "stooped" to the level of the Argentinean Gorillas that ordered the attack..... Martin, as I have expressed before I have great admiration for your country, however, in my eyes there are no countries, only human beings, there are good guys and bad guys everywhere. The particular case of the Monarchs is clear, these guys in spite of having an excellent position to be highly productive and indeed becoming a positive example for your country and the rest of the world, are a clan of leaches period. Incredible waste of resources! The popularity and energy that Princess Diana had was an incredible chance for the Royal family to become a phenomenal influence around the world in a positive way, widely accepted indeed, the example of a true modern Great Britain.... In stead, it became the theme for an absurd soap opera, and you can only blame dear old boy Charlie Wales, (with great help of his relatives and the tabloids of course.) My opinion only, my apologies if I offend you. On the other hand, I despise the intent in which the post that initiated this whole thing was delivered. I simply responded in kind. Z.
