Shorts aren't stupid eh? YHOO? XCIT? KTEL? To name a few.

I can understand the totally negative mood if we had just heard that TDFX was going to miss their number this quarter. But instead...still no warning! After July 15, we should have almost $1/share already for the year. Hopefully the board isn't completely brain dead, and they will at least authorize a stock buy-back. And hopefully during the conference call, they paint a rosey picture for the next year.

From what I am hearing, the hard core gamers on the newsgroups are already complaining about their 800x600 resolution and are starting to write to Santa about another Voodoo II card for Christmas.

Even almighty CSCO was cut in half last March - now it is over $90... and they earn about what TDFX is going to earn per share this year! People think it will be hard to grow TDFX's 3d graphic business? I don't care how big the Internet is going to get - will CSCO continue to earn 10s of Billions more per year?! I doubt it.

Enough ranting, but I'm still confident anyone dumping here because of the current stock price ALONE will be sorry once TDFX _continues_ to perform, and semiconductor stocks regain favor.

I think the inventory problem is well known. DIMD dropped 6.25 % today. TDFX will still have a good quarter , the chips are already sold. I just believe its time to step aside and let the co. suffer their just reward. Let the management of tdfx fight for their co. then I'll start buying again.
When I click on news alert, let me read some bs news release every day. I know its bs, but at least I know the management is there.
