Quite an off-the-wall take, no? IOM buys a company so it can get it to admit that the company was ripping off its patents. Gee, what a great investment. Could it not be that IOM wanted to make sure to lock-up any patents that Nomai had pending, in addition to taking a "viable competitor" (in spite of the libelous remarks that IOM had been making about Nomai) out of the market. Seems a wee bit more likely to those of us here on earth.
