Hi Harve:

Nice to hear you have your K6-2. Be sure to load in the drivers such as Quake II from AMD home page and drivers such as DirectX 6.0 and OpenGL when they are to be released next month. With these new drivers you will see the K6-2 really perform.

I will upgrade my system to K6-2 as soon as I get a 100MHz MB.

I am glad that AMD is finding itself short of the K6-3D. AMD has produced huge quantity of K6-3D and yet it is completely sold out. The K6-266 is an odd ball because it doesn't fit in any multiple of 100MHz. Thus these are sold directly to the reseller channel. K6-2 is unbelievable. AMD has found a winning product. The K6-2-333 will be in box by early July. AMD is expected to pump out 5M K6-2 in Q3 and if they are sold out INTC will be in serious trouble.
