With higher metals I think MAENF is a great
choice, I was particularly intrigued by the
chance for some cheap Cuban metal, and that
is just the sort of project they need too. I
jumped in because it traded close to book, and
I wanted to have some metal in my portfolio.
Truthfully, I do not understand very well the
companies I own, and I generally regard trading
or investing as gambling--and I certainly have
had fun this year.

But I promised myself that I would try and stick to
some rules, and although jumping in and out with
that 1/8th loss on 4k shares was a bit lame, I guess
it comes down to wanting to have shares of something
else more. I took enough beating, time to move on. With
higher metals (even if gold stays low maybe copper will
have a run?) and a little time you will probably do better
than me--(I'm just flitting between mainly biotechs--yikes!)

Anyway, good luck to anybody who is still on the thread,
you probably took worse beatings than me in this and I
certainly hope your patience is rewarded. Bye!

B--We may be there with the price going sub-buck. Maybe it will hit 50 cents?

Hello thread, anyone still hold/watch Miramar? I realize production at the Con mine is still halted, but maybe that is a blessing considering the cost to mine it is rather high. But with 90 million in cash, no debt, and 60 million shares, this one looks like a buy and hold. I thought the company made a very deft move by purchasing and retiring their convertible debentures at a 33% discount. In effect, they are buying their own shares. Any current news or rumors? They should put that 90 million to work, while good properties are a steal.
