I for one welcome the presence of "unbelievers" to challenge our beliefs that Object Design is going to conquer the world.

Let's see what story this quarter's numbers tell. Make sure to check back in a few weeks, and we'll see whether the institutions are being unduly panicky.

Well, six months have passed. I am honoring my statement (see#1354) on 6 Jan. 1998 that I would get back to you on 6 July. I'm a day late but we are just about where we were then, in the 5 1/2 to 6 range. As you see, Bob Goldman is still running the show and things look better than ever for the company. Like good sex, ODIS's future is building slowly but inexorably.

My 2 sons have shares of ODIS in their college funds, which won't be needed for 4 and 8 years from now. I believe that this is a realistic time horizon to make some serious money in this company.

I'm sorry I didn't go to the annual meeting. If I had known how poorly attended it was, I certainly would have gone and reported my impressions here.

I still lurk on this thread and enjoy the posts but my energy, money, and enthusiasm are now with another Massachusetts comany, i.e. Open Market (NASDAQ :OMKT). I seriously believe that this company has the potential to reward investors with the kinds of returns that I made by being a very early investor in Cisco and Microsoft.

Best regards
