Recently bought a Cannondale Bike, I love it. Thought i would check out the companies stock.... you know, the first rule of investing find a company whos product or service you like. After doing some research and finding out they were planning to get into the Motorcycle business, i became very disappointed. As you said, steve, this is a crowded market. Also, the big 4 have established manufacturing and distribution economies of scale (that even helps cut cost on low production models). I have a feeling that this stock may get worse before it gets better. I just hope the company can decide early on if it should continue the motorcycle line. I would hate to go to the bike shop and not be able to buy any Cannondale accessories because the company no longer exists. If any Cannondale execs are reading this.... please don't throw too much good money after bad. And hell, i don't even own any stock, I just love my bike.....
