If we could manage to sweep all the rakoci and wexler into the nearest sewer for a moment, we could step back and observe the one key reality we have all missed this week.

Wednesday is July 1, 1998. It is now only 18 months until the greatest economic catastrophe since the Great Depression. And still there is only one company...ONE COMPANY! that can keep the utilities and manufacturers of the world from shutting down cold on that date.

I am quite frankly bored with talk about # employees, 1-minute interviews and other day-trader bullshit. Most of this thread's contributors just don't understand the story of this company. It will be fun watching them over the next 18 months. Almost as much fun as watching the great, desperate scramble to TAVA by those executives who have always lived quarter-to-quarter.
