It is the vast majority who is being taken to the cleaners by those who are manipulating stocks downward in a blatantly manipulated fashion. Sorry, but Henry's right: the vast majority of people being taken to the cleaners in the BB market are the victims of hypesters. The PKGP case is a perfect example. The Rocketeer stocks are another example: the prices they reached at their highs had nothing to do with "fundamentals" and everything to do with hype. And then the hypesters sold and left the "buy and hold" people holding the bag. You appear to condone these activities, which are far more widespread than mm manipulation to the downside. Note also that the Biz Week article you keep citing is chiefly about hypesters and bigtime promotors; it devotes only a paragraph or so to manipulation on the short side.
