Jozef, remove "Fastfind" from your Start-Up list. This little piggy consumes 8MB of memory and 100% of your CPU cycles as it creates an optional document index. It starts and stops at will. Very annoying.

Joe,

OT

It's because a utility called fastfind is running. It indexes your hard drive so it can quickly be searched. You can either a) disable it, or live with it for a little while till it gets the whole thing indexed, then it should settle down.

I don't use it personally.
