David, Many people talk about extremists and the definition of extremist is very much open to interpretation. I could personally see where the word passionate could very easily be substituted. Many great things were accomplished with passion and this country was founded through the passionate dreams of some. They apparently felt that they were dreams worth risking their lives over and I am grateful that they did. If it were not for great passion where would the works of Shakespear or Mozart be? What would Benjamin Franklin have done if he did not have a passion for knowledge? The list could go on for miles of course because many passionate people have accomplished so many great things throughout history. I just don't understand why others think the passion would stop when others try to take away their freedoms and decrease the amount of safety provided them. I wonder what the people that would attempt to take our rights away feel passionate enough about that they would actually be willing to give up the greatest gift of all for. I am thinking nothing. I am thinking that they are so into denial and self preservation that they would scurry off into some little hole just to preserve themselves and for what I ask.
