I see RAIN in a few years being bought out, or rather Berman selling out to someone, just like he is doing now with Grand to Hilton. I don't see him as a day to day slog it out kind of guy.

New attraction at Woodfield...a Silicon Speedway with racing cars and tv screens, for all ages...right near RAIN at the Suburban Mall near Chicago. First one of these was at Mall of America. I won't be surprised if Lyle is involved in this one too.

Hi John, We are finally established in Cottonwood, AZ and yesterday I received my federal retirement card from OPM so I guess its now beginning to sink in that I won't be heading back to work in Panama as I have on past Stateside trips. I don't see many posts from Dennis as in past. I did send him an e-mail yesterday so hope all is well with him. Rainforest Cafe has been moving up a bit today and it was good to have someone come out with some good words about the company. Our visit to Arizona Mills store in Tempe was less than expected, food quality was off a bit and they did take the cost of the dish off our bill after my complaint, but no manager visited the table. I think that they need to look into quality control in the kitchen in this store. Place was busy, but only at 3/4 full when we visited the place. I have the register number someplace, but would take a search to find it at this time. Sounds like the new Canadian venture is working out well. Best regards to the RAIN thread... Mel
