I really don't understand CPQ's departure in the PCB assembly business. They operate one of the most efficient plants around and a move like this only dilutes their margins even more. Whether it is SMOD, Solectron, Flextronics, SCI is anyone's guess. They all probably have done CPQ business in the past. I hope it's SMOD however!

I think this line was building motherboards not DRAM modules.
Compaq already does a ton of business with SMOD>
