On PKGP, a snippet of the news release: PLAINVIEW, NY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 30, 1998--PACKAGING PLUS SERVICES, INC. (OTC BB:PKGP) today announced a reverse stock split of its Class 'A' common shares. The Company will exchange one (1) newly issued share for seventy (70) currently outstanding shares. Effective today, the shares will trade under the Company's new name, UNIVERSAL EXPRESS, INC. and new Symbol: USXP. go2net.newsalert.com So, it seems to me that anyone who was hyping PKGP in the last couple of months was not doing the individual investor any favors. Perhaps the 'bashers' were right about that one, eh?

The short position and manipulation on PKGP is incredible. And we saw lots of people whom we haven;t seen in ages coming over to PKGP yesterday, creating fear and doubt. Re: the reverse split, if true, was not any investors fault, it is the company's doing, which everyone is pissed about. Whooooaaaa. You're not by any chance saying that PKGP (now USXP) wasn't hyped, are you? And what do you mean, "if true"? Of course it's true. 1:70, my GOD. Too bad you didn't have any "bashers" or "naysayers" around to suggest to the longs that this might well happen. And please tell me: where do you find reliable short interest numbers for BB stocks?
