Thanks Brad. I'm sorry if I was to sensitive.

As far as your question, it just doesn't work that way on SI. Threads become ongoing works in progress and the original intention often becomes altered over time. There is an 'Ask God" thread and I believe the original intention was tongue in cheek for people to blow of steam and 'request divine intervention' for their portfolios. That thread quickly became a hard core religious debate, almost a holy war at times. I've created threads and you basically have to be willing to accept that they will become whatever the unique band that shows up wants it to become. It is actually pretty interesting.

Brad: "Just a question to anyone"
Well since you asked, I have to say that once a thread becomes "public", IMO the author doesn't control the posters.
However, the threads are supposed to stick with the topic.
So, IMO, your thread should be discussing the merits and demerits, of "Bashers".
I have noticed that some people have complained about "Hypsters", which is okay , I guess.
But that really isn't the topic of your thread.
I don't know why someone doesn't start "The Evils of Hypsters" as a topic.
That way the hypster smashers could discuss that at their hearts content, and not change the intent of this thread.
