Scott, I have been following LVLT for the past few months. I owned a position in shares when it was Peter Kiewit Sons, Inc. (KIWT), but now I have some Dec 98 calls that are up over 100% since I bought them. I think that this company is better capitalized than QWST, and that based on the successes of management (see MFS Communications/UUNet), they should do well. I may move part of my DELL into LVLT later this year, or early next. LVLT is destined to be a take-over target.

The people that run it are very well connected, and there are a lot of "brother-in-law" deals going on in terms of who's going to build the network, and where it is going to be built (right of ways). None of these appear to be to the detriment of the firm, but rather very strategic moves.

BTW, as you probably know, the LVLT thread sucks.

LoD
