This deal is certainly complex. It appears that Hilton will buy only the Mississippi operations. The Gnd stockholders will get a share/share trade, stock in the new Hilton Gaming company. Gnd holders will also be left with shares in a much smaller GND.
No one seems to like this deal if the price of both stocks is any indications. However, there is considerable time before closure . Perhaps a mircle will occur. There are some on the Yahoo message board who think the price for GND will be at 25 before the end of the year.
I find it hard to believe the Lyle Berman would sell his stockholder down the river. Hopefully, full understanding og the value of the deal is temporarily escaping us.
