I placed a order thru Web Broker 23 June to exchange one mutual fund for another. Received my order # as usual, except was not able to access the order screen to track the progress of the trade. After 7 days with no written confirmation, I called the co. They told me they do not deal in Legg Mason funds and were unable to fill my order. After sitting here fat, dumb and happy for 7 days I find out I don't own the fund I thought I did. (up 4% last week)
I was told that a representative had tried to contact me unsuccessfully. The most amazing thing was that I was told Web Broker has no e-mail capability! U.S.Mail? The Web Broker manager was on vacation but I recommended that someone in the office monitor this Board. Fat chance of that I'll bet! Rich
