If you were a true Time Traveler, you'd know that I've been to the future, where I'm now laughing at you.

HP just announced using K6-2.

Time Traveler that is somewhat distressing news to an INTEL-ligent investor.

It would appear that the widely circulated reports regarding AMD's impending demise may have been slightly exaggerated.

Thank you for that update.

Dale

TT, please give us all a break on this one ....

HP had a Celeron 266 at $1299 retail, IBM had the Aptiva E85 (K6-2)
at $1099 retail. A terrific mismatch; I will be the first to agree that HP might not have liked the AMD decision -- they are forced into it.

Of course, I don't like HP. I do like IBM and AMD.

Cheers,
JG
