THanks for the link.
Oh well, here I go showing my ignorance again. What the heck, I've got other good attributes.

What is an "enterprise computing market"? I looked in the dictionary and enterprise simply means, as I thought it did, a business. So we are talking here about the market for all businesses, is it as simple as that? Or is an enterprise computing market some special niche????

Down up who cares, Dell will be 100 soon.

And have you all noticed, my first love, the Libertarian thread (new and yes its even above my beloved Dell thread, can I still be Queen of the Dell thread anyway, Venkie?)
is the number one talk of SI right now.

Dave,
Hi!!! Thanks for the post......interesting quote here.....

''From today forward, enterprise customers can expect to get more value for equivalent or better technology when they buy from Dell,'' said Michael Dell, chairman and CEO. ''Our virtual integration strategy and our direct way of doing business means customers no longer have to pay for the proprietary margins some enterprise computing vendors have been charging them.''

I do believe Michael is once again reminding everyone that he is exposing the rip offs in the industry.....

Best, kemble
