Chip, think about it. Just a few weeks ago Kurlak was talking about things improving in semiconductor industry. Now he is bearish again.

He used to have some clout, but I suspect that with what may be perceived as reversals in MLs positions so often, he may be losing credibility.

Every time INTC gets back to 75 Kurlack weighs in with his weighty
world economic forcasts, as if he actually knew something about it.

There is HUGE debate about whether Japan starts to recover this fall
and Kurlack has no special knowledge about it (I am long Japan now).

There is definitely no consensus opinion that Europe is slowing
much.

He may be right about USA (80 percent pcs bought by corporate
and he may have good numbers on projected corporate spending).

Banshee chip looks like it hits a real nice price point for 3'rd and
4'th quarter PC sales. TNT too expensive for lower end PCs.
