Peter,

I like anything that is DD focused - whether it is shells and sub pennies to blue chips. I've said it before, most people would do more DD buying a blender than a stock. Compare: Do you trust the blender company's advertising (PR firms) or independent consumer studies?; Would you buy a blender based on an unknown person's opinion or would you seek advice from more qualified sources (like you mother who burned thru 20 blenders)?; Would you buy that blender if you knew that the person telling you about it was getting a commission on the blender, but only on that particular brand of blender? Would you even comparison shop or simply buy a particular blender on a hunch? Would you buy a bunch of FAULTY blenders knowing that the more you buy, the more the price would go up (supply and demand), the more you could resell to various unknown persons?

Come on people. You have to treat buying stocks more like buying a car. Check the studies. Comparison shop. Read the specs. Be honest! You wouldn't blindly buy that used car would you?, even if the market for that year and model was increasing?
