What was the case in Florida against Manuel P. Asencio all about?

I can tell you that it was not about a sell rec that he issued. It was also not a RICO suit. Someone on the KRY thread posted all relevant documents from the lawsuit to a web site, if you search in the mid March time frame, you can read all about it. The KRY longs also thought that 1989 had something to do with 1998.

Lying is indeed protected speech. Consult you US Constitution for details.

" Nothing may have come of his other reports, but this is a different matter, and RICO applies here."

Aren't you one of those "due diligence" people? I would have found out everything I could have about Asensio if I didn't know who he was, and he had such a profound effect on my money. Every time, the longs make the same claim as you have above, and time after time, it's meaningless. This situation is not much different from his other sell recs, that's another mistake you've made.
