Hi Paul, Browsing through some postings just a while ago, I took the directions you had pasted to your home page. Thanks.... You have a lot of interesting links there, many of which I am familiar with, although not all of them are updated and effective. Other links are new to me, and I appreciate having them now. What I was hoping to find there though is absent, and that is a page that is a true "home page," something more personal and autobiographical where you take the opportunity to share real things with the rest of the web community. Do you have such a page, and if so would you be willing to share a link to it? The www, and all our internet potential, is a great opportunity to share in ways that enhance and expand our abilities to communicate at levels that help to complete our humanity, the honesty and effectiveness of our relationships, and the means to directly participate in the solution of real problems that concern a very real world that is often in distress and yet yearns to transcend all that isolates and divides, all that in spite of our technology and advances still too often remains remote and impersonal. As our sharpest and most visionary minds have always maintained - whether they be physicists, philosophers, poets or social activists - our best technology will ultimately prove useless unless it supports a transformation of the human soul, a realization of connectedness, a major shift in world view. Today, the technology of communication is an essential part of what this new paradigm is now being referred to as "deep ecology." Individuals, institutions and nations now have an opportunity that extends beyond the limits of mere information. We have within our means now the opportunity to be personal and real, far beyond, and deeper than, the generalizations and ego-maintenence of the old paradigm that favors power over community. Those who continue to use the potential of technology for a purpose that is not within this new paradigm of deep ecology, which is ultimately a spiritual or religious awareness, will be left behind intellectually and emotionally, needlessly stranded when all about them there is progress, community, and fulfillment. Best, Charliss (dgiv investor)
