With all due respect, Bill, those questions you posed are loaded questions if I ever saw any. All we should really care for is this: does FNTN offer something that cannot be found elsewhere? If so, can it survive on its own before some of the big guys come in to take their niche away from them?

Now, why do I say this? Simple. An intranet based product is basically a system composed of hardware and software repurposed to fulfill a particular service. The only way a company can be really exclusive in this regard is if the hardware and/or software it owns is proprietary. If it isn't, and the only edge it has is developing a service concept before anyone else, it won't take long before competitors (perhaps armed with better hardware and software resources as well as financial assets) come into the picture.

In the case of FNTN, I'm still not sure of exactly what would make them any different to anyone else out there (public or private). Apparently, their niche is being carved on a product offering which is, by no means, hard to match or beat by other companies. FNTN seems to be banking on becoming the first ones to offer such a service. Sometimes that'll be enough to guarantee success. It all depends on how solid a client base they manage to build before others jump into the fray.

To me, the website is a clear indication of the depth and breadth of their resources. Their vision. Their creativity. In that light, it doesn't look promising. They better come up with something really, I mean, really good. And fast, for believe me, it won't take long for a true powerhouse to clone their offerings, as described in their own company description. If not make it better altogether.

That's why, though I'm indeed an FNTN investor, I remain cautious until I see something that shows real promise, or downright true value, come out of FNTN.

I am relative new to internet investing and am always looking for sites to assist in DD research. This morning I ran across the site below and saw the references to FNTN (one of my favorite holdings by the way) and am trying to understand the relation between FNTN and www.dailystocks.com. I am still following some of the links trying to figure this out, but thought you or someone else here might be able to shed more light. At the least, FNTN is highlighted here but was wondering if any part of FNTN technology is being used by www.dailystocks.com or are they just using FNTN as an example symbol?

It looks like there may also be a lot of DD tools that others may find useful.
