Mel Glad the move went well for you. That is except your visit to RAIN.

Jeff, thanks for the welcome back, I was beginning to have Internet withdrawal symptoms... but, just like riding a bicycle, its just like old times again on SI. It is sort of strange to have such a group of yes men as the board running a really great concept company. Don't think there is much we can do as individual investors other than be patient or vote with our brokerage firm and go elsewhere. The potential is still there, but like any fledgling idea, there are always mistakes made along the way. I don't really like the idea that so many Rainforest Cafe stores are in outlet malls as these are not ideal places to shop. I know I really get tired of trying to find something that I am looking for in these places. Sizes are not available and many items are one time offers and seconds from the factories. Not the best of all bargains that they are supposed to be. The Mills group must have an inside track with Mr. Berman and the other board members. Now the association with Disney is an excellent one, but time will tell just how successful the two Cafes in Orlando will do against each other, but I have a gut feeling that there will always be more than enough interest in both Disney locations that the effect will be additive and not one of taking from the other. This is not necessarily the case with the Chicago area stores though. The Woodfield mall will be an interesting case in this regard as it probably has the least draw from other tourist type draws such as downtown and the other attractions near Gurney Mills.

The "Street" apparently did not like the Hilton deal as both Grand and Hilton Hotels took a hit today of about 8% or so.

I remain invested in RAIN for the foreseeable future and only hope that they finally are recognized as one of the best of the eatertainment companies out there. Just keeping my fingers crossed on how well RAIN management pulls this together. Best to all the other Rainsters out there... Mel
