If anyone wants to hear the conference with Aklm management call 1 800-388-8975 and request #30-I only heard about 20 minutes of it-it was fairly upbeat(with the past quarter why shouldn't it be?) -they did think they would have a shot to have Southpark out by xmas-could not guarantee it though-also they are just starting beta testing on QFC2 and expect it to be on this current quarter-there is a possible they could miss this quarter though if beta testing is protracted-they expected higher expenses in this current quarter, primarily from additional royalties-as I recall they predicted revenues of $75m-85m and earning of $.03-05 per share-hope they blow those away like they did the past quarters. They are predicting the same sales for QFC2 as QFC1-one of the analysts talked about selling 2,000,000 units which Aklm acknowledged they hoped for but would not predict- If the game is much better than last years, with the new $129 price point for N64 systems, and with a release at the beginning of the football season, I think that 1,500,000 units is a real possibility-but again this is based on QFC having significant enhancements over QFC1-otherwise they would have a lot of purchasers of the fist game buying the second-anyway thats my two bits-Gerry

<It's the earnings that validate the turn around, IMO.>
Of course, I was referring to missing the anticipation of the earnings announcement. I was looking at the stock but had not anticipated earnings announcement. If I had been on my toes, anticipating the earnings announcement, the increase in buying/shareprice should have been a tipoff to buy more. The buy on rumor, sell on news psychology that has just been at play. As I said, I have been long (2 7/8 & 6+)and certainly like the recent rise, even if I didn't like giving up the previous gains. This post about S&P raises aklm to accumulate was on the thqi board.
