Actually Asensio claimed there was no recoverable oil in the leases that Solv-Ex had. This preposterous claim was made despite the fact that oilsands all around Solv-Ex' had been proven to contain recoverable oil.

If Solv-Ex had recoverable oil in its leases (using "conventional" technologies) and it thought it could extract 60-90,000 barrels per day why do you suppose they would ever concoct a scam to defraud investors instead of simply developing the leases? I recall a lot of libelous accusations that the company was fraudulent, a scam, and was "worthless" (or .02 cents). Now that Solv-Ex has been FORCED to give up these leases the truth is out and nobody is crying fraud or scam. Why is that Ricker?
