Imaging Diagnostic Systems Unveils In-Vivo Images At The 84th Radiological Society Of North America Conference
PR Newswire - December 02, 1998 08:17

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Dec. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Imaging Diagnostic Systems Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: IMDS) sent out a clear message today at the 84th annual Radiological Society of North America medical conference in Chicago with a vivid display of twenty comparative in-vivo images as evidence of the Company's progress toward refining its proprietary CT Laser Breast Imaging System.

According to the Company, the images demonstrated the ability of the proprietary reconstruction algorithms to reveal the inner structures of the breast.

"With major enhancements to our lasers and technology we're now able to see distinguishable tissue differentiation and produce consistent clinical-quality images," said Richard Grable, CEO and CTLM(TM) inventor.

The Company recently announced that they have completed the first phase of clinical testing and will submit this data to the FDA to keep them apprised of their progress. Nassau County Medical Center will be the first site for this next phase of testing. It also happens to be an area of the country where breast cancer rates are among the highest in the nation.

Imaging Diagnostic Systems has developed a non-invasive procedure using high-speed lasers and CT-type reconstruction technology to detect breast abnormalities.
