all the things you listed in a previous post re: asia, holiday, bombing, rebalancing,
etc.>>>>>>

HAHAHA
Jen that is why NO ONE knows what is going on ;-)

so much for Fred's....the market goes up when we fire scenario....LOLOLOL

maybe tomorrow

at a certain time today ...which will be coming soon
orders have to be published
so stay tuned and I will give you the CNBC update as to what the end of the day is going to bring..as far as if there will be an imbalance

btw, rebalancing the index mutual funds has to do with having to get out of some stocks and into others because of the changes with the make up of the indices (someone with more experience will have to give you the lowdown on that one...but I thought it was should be noted the guy on the floor said less crazy than last YEAR)...which is different than discretionary...lets buy MSFT to make us look good...or whatever....at the end of the quarter scenario...

Jen,

>>>>>>>>> I thought the market was going up because of money coming in to "rebalance" for the end of the quarter. So now why is the dow going down again? OH, I AM SO CONFUSED. <<<<<<<<

ROFL, simply put the short-term technical are severely overbought. Per my past notes, I was calling for the top tomorrow/THUR so I may be a day late. Still feel that the top could occur tomorrow Thur in light of the month end window dressing, but once that is over watch out.
EDIT - I would not be surprised if we closed flat or slightly up with only 20 minutes left.
