Clark, I'm not making any assumptions about whether the writer or the buyer of the options made the "right" decision. I'm simply looking at the relative volume between the puts and calls, the relation of the volume to the open interest in each series, and the typical call volume for VLSI options. This simply indicates that people are speculating that something positive is imminent and certainly does not guarantee that something is imminent. This may turn out to be a false alarm. Dan
