HP/IBM/Compaq and K6-2
I see that HP has the 6330 (K6-2/300) already on their web site but not the K6-2/333.
The fact that HP announced K6-2/333's probably means they expect a sufficient supply soon.
Also, IBM has the E85 (K6-2/300) on their web site but not the K6-2/333. (I don't remember a press release on IBM and K6-2).
Compaq doesn't yet show the K6-2, but I expect them to announce K6-2 next.
This could mean that the makers have plenty of K6-2/300's to ship, but want more K6-2/333's before they go out to market.
HP has bracketed Celeron with K6-2's, with the 6350 (K6-2/333) being the high end of that model series.
A lot of activity today on Oct20 calls at 1 5/8. Think I'll jump in tomorrow.
