Dr. Engel:

<<As for Katmai - it will be in developer's hands well before the end of summer - along with much better libraries and tools to support its 70 KNI instructions.>>

Do you want to bet that the 70 KNI instructions be more dominant than the 3DNow instructions by summer next year?

<<And Intel will sell it for more than $150 - a lot more.>>

A lot more and a lot less buyers. Yes, I understand that price-demand curve well.

<<If I were you, I'd realize I have been OVERESTIMATING the AMD Mili Vanili.>>

Yes I did sense that you OVERESTIMATING the AMD Mili Vanili 2 quarters ago. You became relief after AMD announced yield problem and a loss. Ever since you have left your guards down and been UNDERESTIMATING the Mili Vanili.

Paul, re: Intel "tools to support its 70 KNI instructions before end of summer."
I read on one of the CPU discussion boards that KNI does not include 70 NEW instructions. The count of 70 includes the original MMX instructions, which means that the KNI extensions are not even as rich as the K6-2 3DNow extensions.
