That's the big difference between management at XCIT and others (such as LYCOS, YHOO, AOL) and SEEK. They will do a deal any way that they can in terms of debt, equity, options, guarantees, revenue-sharing but they will not give up control of the company and that keeps them alive and vital. They know that to give controlling interest to one entity is to no longer be in the game. My two cents FWIW.

Will CYCH management have to give up controlling interest if things get tight? It will be interesting to see.
