Gerald Walls gave you very good advice, and said it clearly.

Simply set up electronic banking with your discount brokerage firm. Then sit at your PC and send in whatever you can afford to your margin brokerage account whenever you feel like it.

I don't remember, but do we still get that TV commercial on one of the financial networks that makes a big deal out of the savings obtained by using DRIPs? I don't see the savings and I wonder how they pay for the air time. They are probably selling something else and confusing the issue.

Rgds,
humble carl

Joyce,
Although Intel has a DRIP I do not think Microsoft does
(maybe because they pay no dividends).

You should e-mail Microsoft Investor Relations.

Carl,
yes they still run that commercial for DRIP plans and the scam
is they sell you the list of companies that do have DRIP's. The information is widely available for free for anyone wanting to search a little & I've seen the list of companies in "Money" type magazines.
