Microsoft claims (still) that it needs a 350 MHz Pentium II to run properly. In "Microsoft speak", that probaby means "350 Mhz Pentium II MINIMUM, 500 MHz XEON recommended".

You got that right. MSFT initially stated the minimum requirements for Windows 95 was a 386 with 4meg memory. Ya right. If you want to wait all day for a response.

Chrome is an interesting development. Critics will point out however that web surfing is a niche market. ;^)
