the baker-hughes land rig count was down 26 last week...
maybe that's our problem. I think I posted this before.
Trends still look favorable to me and I don't see why uti
should show good earnings....may not meet current estimates of
75% growth, but so what? p/e is only 14, and I think 14% or
more is in the bag.

Looks like producing oil, just got cheaper and unprofitable wells
can now produce in record amounts. This company in California
called DynaPump has a new type of pump that uses less electricity and
pumps more barrels per day than the standard well. I don't think
they have many pumps, but I wonder how this will affect oil prices
when well owners begin to retrofit their wells.
