Mr. Leriche was used solely to calculate weighted average gold and silver grades over drilled intervals. The Company intends to test the 700 meter long by 400 meter wide anomalous ridge area between these two historic mines. Holes will be drilled in an east-west direction at a 45 degree angle to intercept the vertical fault zones and gather enough data to establish a concise geological model. So far, results are indicating that the predominant mineralized structures occur as a series of roughly parallel North-South high angle fault zones. A third hole, EC-3, located 50 meters to the northeast of EC-1 and drilled south, intersected an average of 0.2 g/ton over 15 meters within 25 meters of horizontal quartz breccia. This hole is interpreted to have been drilled parallel to (along strike) the high-grade mineralized North- South high angle fault encountered in hole EC-2. One hole was drilled in the area of the La Soledad mine but was abandoned at 60 meters before intersecting the target area due to lost circulation. Three other holes drilled 2 kms east of the El Cometa zone intersected low precious metal values. Given the very favourable results encountered in drill hole EC-2, the Company will re-commence the drilling program immediately. An attempt will be made to establish vertical and horizontal continuity of the El Cometa zone and determine its relationship with the previously mined Refugio zone. MM
