DLJ may have a big client that wants to position in PFE. Someone moved it higher at the close to get a final print above the daily average weighted price. This is usually done to close the stock higher than the average price of a big client positioning so the broker looks good. I saw it happening before the close and bought back the trading stock I sold recently and i'm up a point. DLJ isn't supposed to be contrary to their public statement but the penalty is light. Fido paid 10,000 for the Vinik fiasco when he said buy high tech when he was selling and going long bonds. He got his clock cleaned anyway.

dt,...To underscore and bolster our mutual distrust of this particular "financial advisor" all we have to do is examine the respective whisper numbers for WLA and PFE, made available to us by Yore's url (Thanks, Yore)...WLA has consensus number of .37 and a lower whisper number of .36...not much of an expectation...PFE, on the other hand, has a consensus number of .44, with a whopping whisper number of .57!!! Where does that DLJ idiot Kent Blair get the idea that WLA is a better investment than PFE??? Unless he is not an idiot, but a manipulative sleaze ball... In my opinion, he is one or the other, and deserves no credibility...He has misled a large number of investors...deliberately or otherwise...
