Hi Larry...

I don't quite understand. Why would I wait to buy DELL at a new high of 98 9/16 when I could buy it tomorrow morning for about 6 bucks cheaper?

Ian

Larry, I think it's one of those silly ideas put forth by O'Neil. I believe the best way to invest is to view your money as an investment in the business, not a bet on a stock. The answers to more germane questions ought to guide your investment decisions, like: Where will Dell's profits and sales be five years from now? Is there sufficient cash flow to fund growth? What will the competitive landscape look like in a few years?

If you like the company don't try to time the market -- it's a losing proposition. Just buy and forget the daily price fluctuations.

CTC

<<What do you think of "buy when it makes a new high"!>> Larry, why would anyone want to buy a stock just because it reaches a new high. There are many more factor that one needs to consider, at least IMO.
