Ben,

If you spend $100 more, you could have an IBM Aptiva E85 with 64MB SDRAM and 6GB HD. It sounds like what you paid for is a very fair market price. Those guys that told you that you had a terrific deal were lying.

Since you seem to believer everything, Time Traveler got this bridge for sale. Give Time Traveler $1,000 and this bridge is yours. Send Time Traveler private message for more details.

Wake up, Ben. Have you been following the news? The K6-2/300 is not available for retail, only through OEM if available!

Ben - re: " some small-time OEM "executive" came in and
bought 150 AMD k6-2 chips"

A small time guy comes in to buy 150 chips at about $165 apiece!

Let's see - that's about $24,000 - did he pay by cash, check or Credit Card?

And Fry's had 150 of these just sitting on their shelves - when the rest of the distribition channel was dried up.

Hmmmmmm.

Makes me wonder.
